There is no ilvl change as ancient gear is the same as upper relic in ilvl (1390). The next soft reset is with Akkan gear (Upper ancient, 1525) and gear conversion from Ancient to Upper Ancient will grant you ilvl and better honing rates the same way this soft reset did.
