I did a P80 compact build. I used an Exacto saw for the recoil spring area. I used the wife's Emory set for the file work. It flexes and doesn't scratch other areas. Hey there dborns, sounds like quite a PITA with your P80. Firstly, major kudos on tackling your 4th build! Now onto your issue. This might be old news, but the P80 frames, especially the Glock types, can sometimes have alignment probs that are tougher than a two-dollar steak to fix.I'm guessing that you've already checked for burrs, excess material, and the recoil spring assembly.Make sure the trigger pin is pushed in enough and the spring has good outward tension (bend it up like others have said).
