Yesterday afternoon I had a stretch and sweep and I was advised by my ob that i was 2cm dilated, although my cervix was still abit hard . I am 38+5 days…So this is my 6th baby… I know how the mucus plug works lol… my question is more about if it maters that you lost it after a membrane sweep. So I have had membrane sweeps with every pregnancy. None have worked. I just got one yesterday and have had no signs of labor… now I lost my plug….
