7 seas offers great variety and fun. probably my fav map type, though I crazylike coninents&island and lakes mapscript and if I don't go specific VC, any fractals are fine. It also makes it easy to use policies that affect “cities not on your home continent.” (They also added “Seven Seas” in the same patch.)
