You go past the side, the magic carpet and down through the stern near the sunset bar. IMO so much better. One person can be on balcony without a/c closing in the room. Another option for a traditional balcony is an aft balcony. So much better then the infinite balcony IMO. It was easier to change my hotel reservations to combine everything and come in 5 days before the cruise. I had to change my flights, it cost me a little more, but it was easier as I got a transfer to the airport from Celebrity which only cost $30.00. This was our first Transatlantic, second time on the Apex and over 10th time on Celebrity. The ship is beautiful, huge and was crowded all the time.

The Reflection was just a much more comfortable ship than the Apex. 2. As people realized their mistake, the crowds got larger as our cruise wore on. Raw on 5 on Apex gets the nod over Sushi on 5 on Silhouette. Food is better and service was way better. Remember, you will get unlimited specialty restaurants on both ships when you are in the PH or Edge Villa.
