Directv box will not turn on.

I have a DirectTV stick, and my Direct TV remote asks to be paired each time the TV turns on. However, all of the commands on the remote work during the process.That is the problem. DIRECTV STREAM does not show HDR content when watching tv. Content is in SDR NOT HDR. The box defaults output to HDR which makes the picture look bad. There is no settings in the box to correct this.
