Zweihander has the best power-to-weight ratio for ultra greatswords. If I remember correctly the pursuers great sword has a tiny bit less stamina cost per swing. Also a easy mid-late game spot to farm dragon bone would be in Aldia's keep. You get two astectics and a few dragon bones plus herbs and mushrooms.

Although, for comparison, Large Club is way easier to wield (26 strength, 12 weight, easily attainable and upgrades with titanite), and the damage difference probably won't be that extreme at ~50 strength -- probably about 360+150 for Large Club versus 450+150 for King's Ulra Greatsword.
