Right, except all the posts above have the precons as "good" compared to other precpns, which they are, as average card quality is much better. Yeah and out of the box precons are still trash. 40k precons are better but still really weak compared to a player built deck.

Imperium is a very solid but fairly slow token/midrange deck with a good balance of board presence, card draw and removal. It has many board wipes so you can control the crazy stuff the other decks get out. Necrons is a grindy value engine with many strong plays. It has both artifact and graveyard synergies.

No, there are some in there that I know people can't wait to rip out of the precons and put in charge of their existing decks, or build brand-new decks around them. Are there any other 40K releases other than the Commander Deck Precons? It would be cool to do deckbuilding or build a cube of 40K cards since it's sort of a stand alone theme but that doesn't seem like it would be possible at this time unless you swap in other magic cards which I do not want to do.
