I did not see any indication of V1 or V2 or Bergara barrel marks. Although when I talked to a CVA Technician about my Optima he stated it had a Bergara barrel. Also my rifle has a fantastic trigger.

Did the the same when I got my CVA Accura MR. That CVA came with a solid ram rod. I use the CVA ram rod with a brush on one end and the long cleaning jag on the other end for cleaning the CVA.

I personally prefer stainless so I would go with the stainless rifle. From the accounts that I have read the Optima is a good rifle. You named about the only difference. They both shoot as accurate. The Wolf is lighter and points quicker if that matters to you.
