Even though his vids are a couple years old they have still worked for me as of around 5-6 days ago. Just use mods or console commands probably. Yes, put anything you want that is junk on the ground and quickly press scrap then store. It will double the amount you have. There is also the conveyor belt glitch.

Fallout 4. Okay this is a weird one, I wonder if it might be connected to in-game graphic settings. I have no other lighting/weather mods installed and use the NAC ENB. Sometimes in an outdoor cell, the screen goes almost entirely black, the effect is reloaded within 1/2s. Not gamebreaking but breaks my immersion every now and then.
