Limp mode started a little over a year ago when the clockspring light came on then caused traction control light. At that time it threw p0390 and p0349 which are cam codes p0335 crank code and an 02 sensor code. We changed all of those and it didnt help.

Jul 8, 2011 · I want to reset the ecu, and here is how i did it, maybe its wrong. so please tell me what to do right. 1 - disconnect positive battery cable. 2 - disconnect negative batter cable. 3 - hold both cables together for 30 seconds. 4- connect positive back up. 5 - connect negative. A lot of dealers aren't familiar with the process yet but if you give Jeep wave a call they should be able to get the appointment set up and get the correct info to the service department. My local dealership was a little reluctant to do the recal for 35 inch tires but Jeep wave customer service got it all sorted out.

Ive not had the problem, but a quick Google search indicates the fix is replacement of a board including the sensor on the valve body. There are Youtube videos on how to do pull the valve body. I've cleaned connections on the harness for the cam, air, and coolant sensor. Wiring looks OK to me other than the tightness of it and exposure where the brittle plastic loom disintegrated.
