8 posts · Joined 2021. #6 · Mar 9, 2021. A/C issues was mostly on 3rd gen. There were 2 separate issues. 1. A/C compressor position. The compressor was positioned in a place that wasn't ideal. The clutch and coil would often have issues due to debris. Things like salt, sand, rocks etc. this is about a $600-$1000 repair.
