I doubt your getting a engine code for turning the engine off during a regen but more along the lines the regen failed to complete too many times and/or the DPF soot percentage is too high. It a good idea to have the truck running along the freeway for a good 35-45 minutes on a regular basis so the system can regen the DPF.

Any of the 6.7's can do a stationary/manual/forced regen. Some of the XL and XLT's came with the standard dash and could do the OCR (operated commanded regen).
