It took me like 20 tries to beat jevil on my first playthrough even though i actually bothered to get the clubs-sandwich but also used a less balanced armor setup. Now on my most recent playthrough i beat him on my second try with this setup thanks for the help!

Hypnotize makes jevil twice as tired as pirouette and lowers his attack too.
