Basically, when I try to unlock the door, from the outside, and pull the latch the lock snaps back to the locked position. Had my local Kia dealer run a diagnostics test which by the way they have done all the service since new. I was told I needed a Drivers side Central Locking Switch/Actuator. I took my Optima in to the dealer with the same problem. The fix was replacing a small rubber disc at the top of your brake pedal that had been worn through which made the car think the brake had been activated. It seems like it could be an easy DIY fix to replace the disc, so that might be a good place to start.
