Apr 1, 2019 · As a graduating senior, I have found that one of the best ways to fit credits into your schedule each semester is by taking eight-week classes. The key is to take a couple semester-long classes, one eight-week class during the first half of the semester, and another eight-week class during the second half of the semester. There are an incredible amount of options of different classes you can take, but the ones that I have taken are Basketball and Ice Skating. These classes are awesome and help students get exercise, meet people, and have fun while doing it. IMO CS classes are insanely easy compared to EE/ECE courses (though the difference in interest probably also helps there). If you are looking for an easy advanced computing elective, the CS 498 classes tend to be super easy (if you are like me) where most of the grade is just doing the mps with little to quiz/exam grades.
