Ford 6600 tractor problems.

My Ford 6600 is used for cutting and baling hay. I was cutting yesterday and took a five minute break and when I got back in the tractor, the PTO did not want to engage. It finally did, but it seemed balky. Once engaged, it worked perfectly.
