Drop rate seems too low considering it's needed for a set piece and they don't respawn like wolves or drakes. Good question. They shouldn't respawn. The crystals aren't the type of material that regrows. Plants obviously spawn from the ground and can regrow but crystal and those green blobs on swamp trees do not regrow. Since golems respawn I doubt Irongate will make the crystals respawn in caves. They’re a bit of a massive pain to find, atleast for me i went through quite a few new mountain biomes before i even saw 1. Probably easiest to start a new world and look up the map seed beforehand. Have a good sense of where the largest mountains are before heading out on a longship.
