I have a couple of friends that rent their personal cars out on there. It could possibly be cheaper than a major rental company. You’ll definitely want to just rent a car if you anticipate sightseeing outside of downtown Charleston. Parking downtown isn’t terrible if you anticipate using a parking garage.
