Feb 17, 2020 · Skyrim Special Edition came out in 2016. No excuse not to have support at that time. Fallout 4 also came out in 2015 and didn't have ultra wide support either. Your misunderstanding is, the games are being created with an old outdated engine. SkyrimSE was simply ported to run on 64 bit for the newer consoles with CC in mind.
