One of the great things about Heroes of the Storm is that it's not pigeon-holed into just past Blizzard games, as evidenced by unique characters from Overwatch and from original characters from the "Nexus." That lends credence to the idea that Microsoft could add their own IPs to Heroes of the Storm and pull in players from those games.
After troubleshooting this many times, here are the three most common solutions to this behavior. Try them in order until it is solved: Complete the following steps: a) Launch Heroes b) Start the Windows Game Bar (Windows Key + G) c) Press the cogwheel for settings d) Uncheck "Use Game Mode for this game".
