I remember for some of the "craft x " journey steps, you don't have to craft it. You just have to pick it up. So if you already have one or find it on an enemy, you just have to transfer it to your inventory. Just crafting it or spawning it doesn't work.

Journey challenges are still bugged. This is apparently a long time bug that still isn't fixed on PS4 at least, it's pretty hindering to progression as that's an excellent source of XP... This morning on PC my journey also bugged out. It reverted to "drink water, eat, climb" when those were already long done.

I've summoned surges at all three working leyshrines, defeated the boss at the end of each, and even got some pretty sweet thralls and loot, but no matter what I do, the Summon a Surge journey step won't complete! I've looked all over the internet and found help for the Defeat a Surge Enemy journey step, but not the other one.

I believe i actually found a feast on a body and ate it to complete the journey. They definitely seem to go out of their way to make it as convoluted and confusing for each journey. The journey steps seem to be bugged for a lot of people and definitely some mods seem to interfere with them registering. If anyone knows of a good work around please, please post what worked for you since there really is no tried and true solution posted anywhere that I can find for many of the journey steps that won't complete.
