It was quite different from my previous 4 cruises (2 NCL, 2 MSC) where a majority of passengers of all ages wore white and at least dropped by the deck party even if they didn't dance or stay long.The freestyle deck is located at the top of a flight of stairs and is a rather small area designed for freestyle sunbathing. We checked it out on the initial day while still in port. It was empty. My friend laid out up there later on a sea day and he said there were a few people up there, but none were topless or nude.
The very small fridge is taken up by water costing $8 a bottle. Room service costs about $10 no matter what you order (if you order 2 pieces of fruit it costs $10). Some are first come/first served. 3) You can reserve MDR's, but walking up usually doesn't include a long wait. Maybe 20-minutes or so max. Again, depends on time of day and number of passengers.
Epic definitely has quirks but those quirks make it unique. Lastly, the main thing that often gets overlooked is how NCL built so many ships post Epic with most of Epic's features. The atrium and casino being central are almost identical to BA, GA, Escape, Bliss and Encore. I think even if you pre-pay, you still need to get that sticker the first time you go to the spa.
