I own both the P938 and a Kimber Ultra Carry CDP II. Two vastly different guns, difficult to compare. Personally I find the Kimber a tad too much to carry and a bit finicky as many 1911's tend to be. It is going to be a Kimber and it is going to be either the Pro Carry or the Ultra Carry. Pro Carry is full size frame (alloy) and 4" slide. Ultra Carry is officer frame and 3" barrel. I really prefer commander length pistols, so I am leaning toward the Pro Carry.

I switched from EDC Glock 23 to the Kimber Pro Carry II then after about a year I obtained a Ultra RCP II and it has become my EDC. All in .45 ACP.
