It woke up and spawned mechs. It was about 30 mechs against the 44 donkeys. The mechs won, but the donkeys took out 2 of the 5 centipedes and 6 smaller mechanoids. I finished off the rest when they attacked my base, then cleared out the cluster. I was left with a big pile of donkey corpses and mechs for my huskies and horses to haul.

It depends on what the mechs spawn with and what the bugs manage to get to first. If the Mechs have a lot of fire units that stay at the rear the bugs will loose. Otherwise the bugs generally win.
