TBH, after buying those practice exams, I don't find the NBME explanation super helpful. Most of the time, they give you a 1-liner reason for why the answer is right and then repeat that 1-liner in the "concept to learn" portion at the end of the explanations. Uworld added a TON of surgery questions this year so I think Uworld surgery + relevant IM parts will be more than enough. I did UWorld Surgery and AMBOSS surgery and scored in honors range (>75% national average).
