They are expensive though and try to get one bigger than 5 - 8 inches diameter. Terracotta bowls tied with marble bowls for second place on effectiveness.I have both the mild and medium. Quit cartridge razor's as I was getting bad razor burn on my neck to the point people were asking if I have been choked. I prefer the medium for my neck, but I started learning with the mild. Both will do you well and I think either should work. There isn't much difference in aggressiveness between the two.
