Dec 3, 2022 · C40 looks better, (and polestar 2 even cooler imho), but you pay a price. Cargo room volume in the XC40 is 57.5 cuft vs 48.7 cuft in th C40. I have definitely used that extra volume in my XC40 when camping or loading the family of four up with provisions plus dog for a day trip.

I love my '21 XC40 Recharge. I do not love the tires. I've popped the front tire twice on my driveway. The second time I was driving significantly more slowly to not pop it but it popped anyway-I've filed my driveway down but I don't think it's the driveway that's the issue.

So I looked for tuning options for the XC40 and was quite unhappy that after 3-4 years of the new T5 engines, there were next to no good options for tuning.

These were caused when a buildup of pollen (and/dirt) clogged the drainage holes for the moon roof. The noise difference, and ride quality, are night and day. Granted I went from having 60,000 miles on my 2019 to a brand new 2021, but it is very noticeable how quiet the ride now is.
