I have an 08 with a battery from 2018 which is normal lead acid. Your best bet would be to remove the battery to confirm it is a lead acid. I believe they use Yuasa batteries. If it’s lead acid, the battery tender is fine. If by chance it is a lithium ion battery, you need a tender that is compatible with lithium ion. Jan 30, 2017 · Check the carb vent line to see if is clear if it has one. Recheck float height and that float needle is seating properly. Make sure the pilot screw is adjusted to specs.
