It's nice to have no expense ratio. However, that's generally not an option. There are extremely few funds with 0.00% expense ratio. Fidelity offers 4 zero funds. That's all I am aware of. The other 99.999....% of funds have non-zero expense ratios. If you want to invest in a fund other than these 4, you may be out of luck.
