The best way to get back in is to shield-bash your horse so it's head is in the gate, the mount it, ride through, shield bash the horse into the second gate, ride through that, then climb the wall left of the door with your horse and that should get you into the courtyard. Went to reeking cave and no stone. Tried getting back in the Thalmor embassy, no dice. This is definitely the stone I'm missing, as I've never been to reeking cave before this and it took forever for me to find it. I've scoured the game and rechecked all the other places that had the stone and I've definitely got them.
