We do have reservations to stay in Butte at this point, but was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on where to stay so we are at least within 2 hrs of Glacier. I see there are two towns Ronan and Polson. Your concern about crowds ( parking, lodging issues) in GNP is correct. The logistic (in addition to less driving) of visiting NCNP would likely be easier.
